Bill Pay Instructions
1. Log into your app using your account # and password
2. Select the 3 lines in the top left corner
3. Select Pay Bills
4. You will first need to add a payee
There Are 3 Types of Payee’s
Bill Payee
This is for any monthly bills to any institution
You will need the following information:
Payee Name
Account Number
Address & phone number
Name on account
i.e. If you needed to pay your mortgage, gas or electric, or credit card payments- you can add the receiver as a payee here.
External Transfer
This is for when you want to send money to another account of yours at a different financial institution
i.e. If you need to send money to your account at Bank of America.
You will need the following information from the other institution:
Routing Number
Account Number
Account Type (savings or checking)
Individual Payee
This is for when you want to send money to a non-credit union persons
You will need:
Payee Name
Account Number
Address, phone number & email
i.e. If you want to send money to your friend who does not have an account at NY Bravest FCU and uses another financial institution.
Once a payee has been added- Go back to the “Pay Bills Menu”
Select New Payment for Bill Payee and Individual Payee transactions
Select New Transfer for External Transfers only
Fill in the transfer details – you can choose if you would like it to be a onetime transfer or a reoccurring transfer.
Select Add and you are finished!
